on ice

burrrrr. we were pummelled with a load of rain and ice, followed by snow last night. it actually made for a great evening. our power went out at 5:00pm saturday and wasn’t back on until 10:00am sunday. it was really kind of nice. no tv, no computer, no lights. just candles, quiet and good company. deeann, ren and i sat around, read books, talked, went outside, took pictures, made a snowlady and enjoyed the calmness that the storm brought.
