TOMS Shoes

I ran across this site this morning, I think off of Donald Miller’s site.  TOMS Shoes is just a guy named Blake Mycoskie, who started this shoe company, making very simple shoes (not to be mistaken with Simple Shoes) with one mission:  “To make life more comfortable.”

Inspired by a traditional Argentine shoe and challenged by the continent’s poverty and health issues, I created TOMS with a singular mission: to make life more comfortable.  TOMS accomplishes this through its unique shoe and my commitment to match every pair purchased with a donated pair to a child in need… no complicated formulas, it’s simple, you buy a a pair of TOMS and I give a pair to a child in need.

Awesome.  And the shoes are pretty sweet too.  I just bought a pair of Simple Shoes recently, but I know where I’m getting my next pair.
