iowa city jazz fest

yesterday and today deeann, rebecca, ren and i went down to the iowa city jazz fest. it is always a good time. delicious falafel, pork on a stick, and fresh lemonade were just a few things that made it to our bellies. the weather has been great for it too. today we went down at 3pm and just got home at about 8:30. hanging out, playing cards, listening to some great tunes, getting our friz on, and having a blast with a few thousand other people ain’t half bad. today my parents were able to make it out too.

i love iowa city’s summer of the arts! between the art fest, jazz fest, friday night concerts, saturday night movies — we are covered! there is no place like it in iowa, that’s for sure!
