an update on portland

a lot has happened in the past week.  the biggest news we have is that deeann got a job!  she will be taking a night shift in the ICU at the VA in portland.

now we start looking for places to live.  we’ll have a little help from the people at western culinary institute.  they have some special people that help you with that.  in addition we have a load of stuff to get rid of.  furniture, clothes, all sorts of things.  we only taking what we can fit in two cars.  the other good news we have is that terra and pete are going to try and come with us for the trip out(except they will be coming back).  we extremely excited about that!

stay tuned.  if you are in need of bookcases, coffee tables, futon, and other random funiture items please let me know.  i’ll be putting stuff either here or on craig’s list.  we really aren’t looking to sell anything.  if you have the means to take it from our house, then it’s yours.  we’ll keep you posted.
