one year anniversary
20Oct08yesterday was our one year anniversary of being in portland. it’s a bit strange to know that we’ve already been here for a year. in some ways it seems as though we’ve been here for much longer and in other ways, much shorter.

portland marathon … finished!
05Oct08today i finished my first marathon. it was a blast to run with a few thousand people all around this beautiful city of portland, get cheered on by many of my friends and even my parents, and have the energy to cross the finish line.
